INGREDIENTS

Magic Almond-Tahini Sauce

  • 1/4 cup JUSTIN’S® Classic Almond Butter
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Falafel Pitas:

  • 4 whole wheat pitas
  • Nutty Falafel
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped tomato
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Pickled red onion
  • Fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. To make the sauce, combine all ingredients in a blender cup and blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. To make the pitas, spread the inside of the pockets with an even layer of sauce. Then stuff each pita half with 2 falafels, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and fresh parsley. Drizzle with extra sauce, as desired.
