INGREDIENTS

  • 4–6 crisp apples (like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), washed and dried thoroughly
  • 1 (11 oz) bag soft caramels (or homemade caramel if you’re feeling ambitious)
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Popsicle sticks or sturdy skewers

Topping ideas (chop into small pieces):

  • Justin’s Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Candy Bars
  • Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
  • Justin’s Peanut & Peanut Butter Candy Pieces

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prep the apples: Insert a stick into each apple and set on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Make sure apples are dry, caramel won’t stick to moisture.
  2. Melt the caramel: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt caramels with cream, stirring until smooth. (You can also microwave in 30-second increments.)
  3. Dip + coat: Dip each apple into the caramel, letting excess drip off. Quickly press chopped Justin’s candies or PB pieces around the bottom or sides before the caramel sets.
  4. Set + drizzle: Place apples back on the parchment. Let set in the fridge for at least 20–30 minutes before serving.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie in clear cups with white and gray striped straws on a white background

I would say something like “Enjoy the taste of childhood PB&J with this Peanut Butter & Jelly Smoothie,” but that would imply that adults don’t eat PB&J sandwiches. That is not true at all for this adult. If you love Peanut Butter & Jelly just as much as me, then you will like this smoothie.

Celery sticks with peanut butter, grapes and blueberries on top.

Silly Celery Critters are far superior to Ants on a Log. Just sayin’.

Let’s be honest, dipping sauce makes just about everything better. Meatballs? Better. Breadsticks? Yup. Vegetables? AKA dip holders. This Balsamic Almond Butter Dipping Sauce takes 5 minutes to make, uses ingredients you probably already have on your shelf, and is just about the best dipping sauce out there. I can assure you it’ll bump your appetizer up a notch, or 10.
