INGREDIENTS

Doughnuts:
¼ cup JUSTIN’S® Maple Almond Butter, melted
1 cup + 2 tablespoon of Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
⅓ cup Coconut Sugar (White Sugar will work)
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Eggs
2 tablespoons Applesauce
½ cup Almond Milk (or any Milk)
2 teaspoons Vanilla

Almond Glaze:
2 tablespoons JUSTIN’S® Maple Almond Butter
2 tablespoons Almond Milk
¾ cup Powdered Sugar

DIRECTIONS

For the Doughnuts:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Coat the doughnut (or muffin) pan with cooking spray.

3. Combine the whole wheat pastry flour, coconut sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, applesauce, milk, vanilla, and JUSTIN’S® Maple Almond Butter.

5. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.

6. Fill the doughnut pan and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.

7. Cool completely.

For the Almond Glaze:
1. For the glaze, whisk together the almond butter, milk, and sugar in a shallow bowl.

2. Dip the tops of the doughnuts in the glaze and enjoy!
