Born and raised in New Hampshire, Ted grew up competitively on skates and skis much more than a bicycle. At that
age, two-wheels were a means to zip through the woods to friends' houses or for candy runs to the general store
down the road. Years later, upon arriving to Middlebury College, his older brother Robbie was winning cycling
collegiate national championships, so with his penchant for sports and new adventures, Ted decided to give the
bike another crack. He has never looked back. Racing professionally directly out of college, Ted has been a
stalwart American in the European professional peloton since 2009, now with the Cannondale Pro Cycling team.

What's your living Utopia?
I'm at a coffee stop with cycling buddies, atop some massive climb, naturally with Justin's in hand, sun's
shining and life is great.
Favorite training food:
I love my time in the kitchen, so I make homemade, carbo-rich energy bars. Pack that in your jersey pocket
with a Knead & Squeeze Vanilla Almond or, paying homage to my New England roots, a Maple Almond... holy moly,
that's a match made in heaven!
